Once within the privacy of his truck, Bjorn scrolled through the contacts on his phone for the name ‘Grigol Glassman’ and dialed it.
Glassman answered instantly. “Well?”
“He’s short,” said Bjorn, brows gathered. “Class 3’s are supposed to be huge.”
“Bro, everyone’s short to you. You’re a friggin’ giraffe. But you’re not imagining it. He’s 5’11.”
Bjorn’s eyes widened.
Glassman chuckled dryly. “Weird, right? A short 3. Anyway, about working the Lachlan Region…”
“Oh, God—is this the part when I suffer your infinite and unsolicited wisdom?”
“Shut up. So the Class 1’s here are a joke. Scared of their own shadows. The 2’s can be annoying because they think, since they can blend in, that they’re people, too. And then there’s Saj.”
“He’s a bastard. You have my permission to hate his guts. And don’t feel pinked by what anybody says—you do what you gotta do.”
